This is a model aeroplane i tried doing once, and in true Da Vinci style, never finished. Also, like a lot of Da Vinci's work, this model is also based on the idea of flight. It interests me how so much of modern aeroplanes and helicopters look as if they're derived from Da Vinci's work, how we are still using ideas formulated during the Renaissance. I get all this from one model.

As if the United Arab Emirates didn't have enough breath taking hotels. Whats interesting about this building though is that it has an indoor waterfall. With a climate like UAE's the waterfall actually serves the purpose of keeping the inside of the hotel cool as the water falls through the void.

Its interesting how photography can capture a single moment and make it last for a lifetime. All expereinces are temporary but when caught on film they never end. In saying that, this photograph encompasses the intensity and high emotions felt by the crowd for the instant the lights flashed and the drums started their solo, and crams it into a 2-dimensional expereince that will last a lot longer then an instant.
